One of the hottest double bills of the summer concert season will stop in Ottawa after all. The multi-million-selling boy band of the late ’80s, New Kids on The Block, is teaming up with the multi-million-selling boy band of the ’90s, the Backstreet Boys, for a summer tour that will visit Scotiabank Place on Aug. 4.
“It’s not about who opens or who closes,” reads a statement from the Backstreet Boys, who are opening the show. “It’s a night of continuous music, hit after hit.”
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 17, available in person at the Scotiabank Place box office, Sens Store locations and Ottawa-area Sports Experts stores. Prices range from $29.50 to $89.50, plus surcharges. For credit card orders, call 613-599-3267 or 1-877-788-3267, or go to www.livenation.com or www.capitaltickets.ca.
